is to provide assurance that through stewardship of university resources
the university's fiscal reputation is above reproach. Our commitment is to support the university
community and its external constituents by providing the highest quality financial and accounting
services within an environment that fosters integrity, responsibility, and teamwork while maximizing
efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. We accomplish this by giving directed guidance in financial
reporting, internal and external compliance, and financial administration.

For monthly paid employees, your 2009 W-2 form does not include your December payroll paid on January 4, 2010. That will be included on your 2010 W-2, however, your December 2008 paycheck is included on your 2009 W-2.
W-2 income is based on when payment is made, not earned.
