your W-2 electronically!
Form W-2 is the Wage and Tax Statement employees receive from IU each year. The W-2
contains important tax information that is used in the preparation of Individual Federal
and State Income Tax Returns.
The IRS has approved the delivery of your W-2 statement online if you provide your consent.
The electronic W-2 will be available about a week before the traditionally mailed W-2. To learn how to consent click here. If you elect to receive your
W-2 online, you will not receive a mailed copy. An email notification will be sent to you when the
W-2 is available for retrieval. For important information on this process, please view W-2 online vs. traditional mailing.
Electronically furnished W-2s can be printed from the web, will be available for
reprinting for 4 years, and can also be imported directly into
tax software such as TurboTax and TaxAct.
