As a U.S. citizen working outside the U.S., am I still required to pay FICA-Retirement and FICA Medicare taxes?

You are still required to pay FICA taxes, however, you may file a 673 Form to be exempt
from U.S. federal, state, and county tax. You will most likely be required to pay some
taxes in the country in which you are working. If you need further clarification, you may
contact the Internal Revenue Service at 1(800)829-1040.
